Training is spread over a minimum of 8 days training locally and 6 days training in Spain. Airport transfers in Spain, accommodation, equipment and fuel included. You can use your own equipment if you wish.
• Age: Students must be at least 14 for solo flying. Parental consent is required for those under 18.
• Weight: Normally we have a weight limit if 120kg, Students heavier may participate if they have their own suitable equipment.
• Fitness: You must be physically capable of running for take-off and landing, as paramotoring is a strenuous activity until you become proficient at launching.
• Medical: You must disclose any medical or physical conditions that could increase your risk of injury.
• Substance use: You must not consume illegal drugs or performance-inhibiting drugs and must refrain from drinking alcohol for 10 hours before flying.
• BHPA. Each student must join the BHPA before training can commence.
Safety and liability
• Inherent risk: You must acknowledge that paramotoring is a form of aviation with inherent risks, and injuries or death can occur. You assume personal responsibility for these risks.
• Instructor discretion: Instructors can terminate training or a flight at any time if they deem your fitness or health or conditions not suitable for safe flying.
• Equipment damage: We welcome yo to use the school equipment throughout your training, on condition; you are responsible for any damage caused to the equipment. Damaged equipment e.g. propellers, nets, frame, harness and glider must be paid for.
• Weather cancellation: Training is often weather-dependent. If a course is cancelled for safety reasons like weather, you will be able to rebook for another time with no extra charge.
Course specifics
• Booking and validity: Training must be completed with 12 months from start day, regardless of weather. You will be offered a minimum of 14 full days training which should be ample time to complete all tasks. Most likely you will have several more days throughout the year.
• Cancellation: No refunds can be given if you decide to cancel training. This is due to the difficulty filling a place and the trip to Spain has to be covered regardless.
Payment £1950.00 (minimum 8 days training locally and 6 days training in Spain)
​Before training begins full payment will be required. This training is for a maximum of 1 year from enrolment. All students will be offered a minimum of 14 full days throughout the year, 1 day is around 6 hours. Normally training occurs at weekends but during the longer summer days , evening and midweek training can be available. It is the student’s responsibility to make themselves available for training. The course consists of minimum 8 days training locally and 6 days training in Spain. The Spanish training week includes; Airport transfers in Barcelona or Andalusia, self catered accommodation use of equipment, fuel and transport to and from training sites.

Insurance
As each student will be signed up to the BHPA you will have £5,000,000 third party liability cover. This is not medical insurance so you should consider taking out cover whilst in Spain, we can help with this.
